Me and Pete gave the guy a chance, we let him post, but had to make a decision.
Thanks for not ripping the guy to bits too much. We appreciate he has a troubled life. But.
For the good of the forum, a decision was made to ban him  :(

Comments. If you wish  ;)

I agree 100% with your decision. I have sympathy with his situation but that doesn't make it right that he should have posted what he did, both in terms of content and tone.

I firmly believe that, if you hadn't banned him, you would have lost other forum members as he was detracting from our overall good humoured approach.

I have sympathy for the guy and a degree of admiration for the way he has worked to overcome the trauma of his accident but his social skills need a lot more work before he should be let loose on a forum.

It was "fun" for a while, and I agree he's had it tough (and no doubt still has a lot to go through), but his contributions to the forum were not really what anyone expected, and it became tiresome, I guess.
I wish the bloke all the best with his recovery, as I'm sure all forum members do.

Agree with the decision, not because he was trying to come onto me in pm's but just the way he had no respect for anyone else on this forum. Eventually he would have driven everyone else away, we have a nice little community here and whilst we welcome new members to freshen things up existing members do not need to be hassled like that. He has had it tough and has a long way to go for recovery which i have the highest respect for but some social skills need to be reintroduced.

Yes I think we are all sorry to lose him in a way but he did need some assistance with open forums like this. Sad he didn't seem to have anyone to help him 'fit in'  :(

I too think you made the right decision. You gave him a fair chance but I can only think it could have become unpleasant for people.
