And how will this affect the new Northern Gateway project? What will eventually happen to the shop itself, it covers a massive area.

Or will be boarded up oposite the shiny new Gateway development, along with Comet...

Very sad, the denise of another institution.

As an aside - anyone remember the garage where electrical/toy store is, it was called service motors if I remember rightly.

Terrible news, but with the opening of BHS some years ago and now Debenhams hardly a suprise.

That's devastating news. I love the Co-op and will really miss the clothing department and the friendly staff.
