This isn't funny any more - another great British name goes down the pan...  :(

Well I blame the government, not directly, but for allowing multi-national market forces (which is probably about 50 people, mainly Americans) from taking over the world without any respect for the millions of people, their towns and their lifestyles.

The reason we did not close your account is that after you asked for it to be done you kept posting. We thought you'd just had a moment and it had passed.

As requested, I will close your account now.

Back on topic...

I went to B&Q this evening with 'er indoors and as we pulled out onto the roundabout she remarked that soon all towns would look the same - just a series of low warehouse type buildings - no character to the towns.

There was one called Wilton - maybe you're thinking of that. Dunno if they are still in business.

B&Q, that's in the town centre isn't it, oh, hang on a minute, no it aint.
Didn't I post something about Councillor Burrows moving everything out of town the other day.
Let's all drive to the outskirts of town to the low whorehouse type of build.
I'll sit in my taxi in the town centre all day wondering where all the fares have gone !!!
