Driving through Staveley works earlier and came across this pair laid at the side of the road.  :-?
The rabbit looked like it had been there a few days, the magpie looked pretty recent, few hours maybe.

Not a clue  q?

Maybe the Magpie tried to get a quick nibble of the dead rabbit and got hit by a passing car.

Burgundy rectangle, Nonna's Cafe and Hollingwood Lock.
Red cross, location of animals  q?
