Nice pics - thanks.

We couldn't get there until after 6 when it had started to rain. It didn't seem to put people off, we had to queue from just inside the gate and by the time we parked our Riley's engine was getting a bit hot - good thing I had an electric fan fitted. Lots of great cars, especially from the 50s and 60s (my favourite decades), hopefully lots of money raised - just read it was £6,000 see http://rotary1220.org/che/
The event has really outgrown the venue, getting in was bad enough; getting out must have been chaos though we left early to avoid it.

It would be a shame if it became a victim of its own success because it's a really nice setting .Last 4 years have been affected by rain at some stage. I think that caused there to be fewer bikes which is my favourite part of it.

We remembered that it had always been rained on in recent years and went prepared with an umbrella. My only negative observation (one shared by others) is that the exhibiting cars have to queue with the 'moderns' and, when we reached the front of the queue, only one person was collecting entry money - it could be speeded up without much difficulty and would also lead to less of the over heating I mentioned previously.

It must be a good, it's one of the few static shows we go to, much preferring driving events.

I think with a single track in and another out this is unavoidable. I suppose the answer is for the classic vehicles to get there earlier than the general public.

They could use the third entry/exit. Getting there early wouldn't be an option for those who go to work; not unless the show moved to a weekend.
