Having been mowed down on a pavement by a 14 year old kid a few years, get the bikes on the road.
My last post was a p... take. What brings workers/shoppers into town to use or have businesses.
I bet cyclists are a small % now and will be  in the future.

Not sure what the Chesterfield population is these days, but I recon there's less than 20 cyclists on the road at any given time (races excluded).

There are some places York is one where it's quite common to see people riding cycles, many European countries travel arond on cycles.

Now there's an idea. I can't actually ride the things - poor balance and over-compensating fear of falling off - so I wonder if I can get a three-wheeler, on the Social?
