Paying for garden waste
« on: August 28, 2013, 04:58:01 PM »
Daughter told me she had heard this on the news yesterday and I am wondering if Derbyshire will follow seeing as there are more cuts to come from central government.

I think it could lead to more fly tipping if they did - I would be interested what others think of it?

If it happens here, I'll carry on what I've been doing - take it to the recycling centre when I go with other stuff.

Unless you live close by and can transport on a wheelbarrow wouldn't it cost more in fuel though Dave

If you made a special trip but I combine trips to shops and recycling as much as I can.

I suppose you could always put it in your neighbours' bins  :)

Now then Dave, don't be giving her ideas...  ;)
I started out with nothing and I've still got most of it left.

Scaring me you mean Pete - I hate shopping.
As I don't shop near Stigs place (Stonegravels) it would be a trip just for dumping garden waste for me, as I live the other side of Chesterfield it would be cheaper to pay - not that I want to pay I reckon we pay enough.
