Nationalism becoming irrelevant?
« on: February 16, 2014, 10:08:42 PM »
I appreciate we may not have an interest in what is happening North of the border but the following did cross my mind.
If in September the Scottish nation vote against independance does the SNP become obsolete?
And if they do then as and when we have a referendum on the EU if the vote is to remain a member does UKIP lock its doors?

They would have to get agreement from all member states to become members of the EU. Also issues around currency. Tories are probably secretly in favour as probably their best bet for re-election in England and Wales.

Can't speak for UKIP or SNP but I suppose they would have to find some other policies
