Goes through it, but there's no station being built nearby  ::)

The link is a chesterfield transport site and I suppose it is a similar thing to hs2 on a massive scale.
Comments like that make me feel I can't post for fear of doing something wrong. It's the sort of attitude that is used on 'another' local forum.

Gosh there are some wonderful photos of old buses on there, it's surprising how we can forget what they were like.

I notice there is a new managing director - will this mean changes which may affect you do you think ?

The new proposed high speed train looks smart I suppose with a two day journey many will use it as part of their holidays.
I have always wanted to travel on the Orient Express but after watching a documentary on it and realising there are no en suits I changed my mind, I can't see me scuttling down the train for the bathroom a couple of times a night, so that's my dream done!

I also noticed that there is a proposal to come into London on another venture they are considering and am wondering if that is maybe just another euro tunnel journey?

I thought the Chesterfield section was about Chesterfield; that's the reason I'm interested in it, I've grown to like the town in the eight years I've lived here.

I don't see a connection between "China to build high speed rail link from Beijing to US" and Chesterfield - that's all, no offence intended.

Maybe I need to re-sit my Chesterfield Online Manual before posting. :-[

Sorry, my fault. I should have moved it to a more relevant forum.

Done now - trot on...  ;)
I started out with nothing and I've still got most of it left.
