It's certainly very cold out there today, as you say it's winter we expect to have some cold weather/snow. The media like to sensationalise things!

which reminds me

A little 5 year old girl goes into a pet shop. She asks the man at the counter "can i have a wabbit please?". His heart warmed, he drops down to her height and asks"what kind of wabbit would you like? A brown wabbit like the one over there or a white wabbit like the one in the window?".
The little girl replies " i don't think my pet snake really gives a f*** what colour the wabbit is."

If you havent seen the forecast, its not looking particularly great.

Over Thursday night and Friday morning, they are forcasting up to 20cm (about 8in) of snowfall over Yorkshire, Lincs and East Mids.  We seem to be on the edge but i know that snow is very difficult to get right.

They got it right last week when it snowed on Saturday and that was predicted almost a week in advance, so if it continues, get ready for some significant white stuff.

We used to put ours in the shed during the winter, went in one tea time with a torch to feed them and had three sets of eyes looking at me  :o  :o
Plenty of bedding and carpets over is maybe all you can do then to help keep warm icle bunny.
few weeks ago my daughter decided to have a icle house bunny --- not a good idea! But that's another story!!  ;D

That's a very sensible suggestion, and one I think you should take up.  I would - if I had an ickle wabbit  :D

He lives! Flapjack survives his night of icyness!

Actually his hutch is a bit of a thermal Fort Knox - my missus has been insulating it for weeks now - carpet tiles, clear plastic over the wire mesh and huge multi thickness tarpulin, etc.

Just to be on the safe side I am getting a small hutch today that we can have in the house.
