Robins
« on: March 05, 2015, 12:42:24 PM »
Any bird enthusiasts ?
I have a ground feeder and a Pole feeder.
Robins generally seem to use the ground feeder, but today I saw a Robin feeding from both but then - and this is my question

I saw two Robins together perched on top of the Pole feeder, the both flew down to the ground below together.
Never seen two together like that before.
Mates do you think?
Or is it not that uncommon?

I have seen the two Robins together again and there is a nest being built in the Leylandi's.
Robin is very busy backwards and forwards with nesting material in it's beak.
I had intended to sit in the extension bedroom window as I get a good view of ground feeder where they go and the Lyandi's.
However hubby decided to mow the lawns, so I will try tomorrow when it's quieter outside.
