Agreed! I'm not a film fan (can't sit still long enough to watch one!) but I never tire of watching this one.

Brassed Off! (Trailer)

Love the humour and pathos in this film - especially when 'Gloria' is introduced to the band and, when asked what her surname was, the bass player replied 'Stitz' (Gloria Stitz - gettit?!).

Whoever did the research for this film certainly did their homework, I played in a Brass Band for umpteen years and I could relate to everything - including some of the characters.  :)

Thanks Pete for your 'idiots guide' - it worked perfectly (as you can see) unlike when I Googled how to do it!! Could uou delete my original attempt please?
