The Old Original Bakewell Pudding Shop
« on: March 28, 2012, 06:03:29 PM »
My OH took her folks on a run out into Derbyshire today and brought back a Bakewell Pudding. Is there anything nicer?

Mind you, after eating (most) of it, I had to race to the bathroom to brush my teeth - man they are sweet. :)
I started out with nothing and I've still got most of it left.

Black pudding, love it. Used to be a butcher on the market years ago, sliced it off a great block  ;)

Try the Tesco one/variety. There's less lumps of white fat in it.
Makes a great sandwich for a Sat/Sun teatime.
Bag of crisps, couple of pickled onions  ;)

I'd be struggling to decide whether I prefer Bakewell pudding or black pudding.   They are equally scrummy. :)

I'm not a big sweet/pudding eater.
Don't think a Bakewell pud would go down to well with me.
Probably too sickly.
Love dark/plain chocky though  :D

Sorry to hear that Fly, that's far too young an age to go.
