Flowers
« on: June 20, 2013, 08:08:10 PM »
I took this photo with my phone this afternoon behind the place I was working at. They were all over some sort of bramble bush thingy. I think its some kind of wild rose.

Pretty aren't they?

I started out with nothing and I've still got most of it left.

Yes they are pretty I remember those from years ago. Seem to think we had some growing around our oput house - think mum called them a rambling rose?

Nice find OC, but I'm not sure which one it is. Smells nice too.

And while we're talking about flowers check out one of my Father's Day pressies.

Watch out for the pollen from those things Pete, it stains anything it touches. Triffids aren't they....?

I was just going to say the same thing Dave, beautiful flowers but do stain.
It's the photo at the top of the page which is the same Pete - but still don't know what it's called

The roses growing in hedges are called "Dog Roses."  They're beautiful at the moment and they have a really strong perfume.
