I took this photo with my phone this afternoon behind the place I was working at. They were all over some sort of bramble bush thingy. I think its some kind of wild rose.
Pretty aren't they?

Yes they are pretty I remember those from years ago. Seem to think we had some growing around our oput house - think mum called them a rambling rose?

Watch out for the pollen from those things Pete, it stains anything it touches. Triffids aren't they....?

The roses growing in hedges are called "Dog Roses." They're beautiful at the moment and they have a really strong perfume.
